A little bit about the program...
Seven Teenagers from across the New Orleans metro area have entered into a
year long intensive documentary class being offered by Scrub Brush
Productions. In this class the students are learning real production techniques
that are being used today in the professional world of filmmaking.
Every month, each student is making a ten minute documentary involving their
environment. It is up to them to figure out the specifics of their projects,
shoot the b-roll and interviews, and edit the footage.
Their raw footage will be pieced together into the documentary
“Murder Through the Eyes of a Child” to show the realities of growing up
in Urban Environments in the United States.
